spark plugs

i,m running the standard NGK BR9ECS plugs in my mc16. should i change to a cooler running plug for track days dyno runs etc.

The BR9ECS are very slightly different to the BR9ECM (fitted to MC18 on), but should be fine provided that there's been no other mods to the bike.

You could change to a #10 plug whcih would be more effective at high rpm and higher combustion temps, but may foul at lower rpm.

the bike has a drilled air box jetted carbs and race pipes. and with luck, will be getting mc21 carbs and some ignition work .
should i use a 10 ECS or ECM ?
