Helpful as ever Rolling Eyes

Anyway, all real mc28 SP forks have the blue adjusters you twiddle with your fingers, not slotted ones like the 28se.

What's wrong with Dave's reply? He said what you did, only more economically and with a hint of humour! Very Happy

Well, I thought it was amusing anyway Dave!

Covering an answer with "I think" places doubt on the facts stated by the author.
If Dave doesn't know for sure that's fine but the point still stands neither post answered the question.

It's borderline being ignored for comedy value grammar anyway, only gets a reply at all as it's a '28 question and I like those little blue adjusters Wink

Go Fontyyy......

Just to expand on this slightly. The 28R forks are crap...nuff said about them. The 28SE forks have the slotted brass adjusters and control low speed rebound damping by changing the flow rate at the top of the damper rod. They also have a very small effect on low speed compression damping.

The 28SP has the adjuster valve fitted right down deep and is linked to the funky blue adjusters by an alloy rod inside the damper rod. Mainly adjusts low speed rebound damping. Also has a small effect on low speed compression damping, but more so than the SE (and MC21SP) type.
