Once the screw and retainer is removed the TPS can just be pulled off the side of the carb. There is nothing really holding it.
But like Maxim says, unless your running some sort of race ign system or non TPS carbs (the TPS still need to be on the bike even with non tps carbs)they run a whole lot better with the TPS. _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...
They're bloody hard to set up and every one is different (due to the tolerance of the potentiometer), so don't take it off, that's why it has a security torx bolt holding it in place...
