Hi, I'm trying to figure out how feasible it's going to be for me to purchase a MC21 and get it home (canada)

There are always a lot of bikes on yahoo japan auctions, and I know there are companies that are in place to assist people in purchasing from this site (For a fee, of course)

Has anyone bought a bike from yahoo japan and had it shipped to their country? Are there any recommended importers?

Any other places to look for bikes? I periodically see them in Canada and the US on ebay

ive not had a bike from yahoo but i think it mite be better to find someone who can import one for you i do think it will be the cheepest anyway. i have read of bikes being striped and sent as spares

Companies like OkShon baulk at even shipping a complete motor, so I can't see then shipping a full bike, I'm afraid. You'd perhaps be better off talking to a company that import iused cars or something if you don't have specialst bike importers over there. It'll probably cost plenty though

Better just buying it in canada. Check out BCSsportbikes forum or jpgreymarket.com there located in vancouver , tin36(member here) and 2 people in East side of canada import grey market bike now.

If yoour lucky, you could bid and buy one from UK, and then get a UK exporter to pick the bike up pack it and ship it, of course you will have to pay up front and wait a while before you really get to see what you have bought, but thats what tin36 did to buy my MC18.

He had a guy pick it up from my house and then crate it for him, it was then exported to canada.

I may check with one of the car importers here, as there are a lot these days.

Are there as many nsr250's for sale in the UK as there are in japan?

I've looked at jpgreybikes.com but they only seem to have 4 stroke bikes coming in.

Does tin136 import other bikes, or did he just import his own?
