Latest project... MC18F3

Mon May 28, 2007 3:40 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Now running along side the '89 RS250R rebuild is the latest project, a full F3 '88 MC18 very similar to Andy's '89 MC18F3 project.

I've got a F3 frame and F3 swinging arm, F3 harness, ECU and controlers, F3 carbs plus a full F3 kit motor.

Ive just rebuilt the bottom end so the cylinders should be on it this comming week then into the frame it goes.

HRC quote 68-70hp for the F3 MC18 depending on year so It will be good to see how close the '18 can run compaired to the '21 F3.

By now he has a total F3 NSR, and the shed filled with F3 parts, the market is totally vacuumed for F3 parts and still he can't get himself to tell us, his friends.
What if one of the last F3 parts on the market surfaces, and SOMEBODY ELSE BOUGHT IT Shocked

He'll probably dig the parts, he can't use, down in the garden, so nobody else will get them.

Yahoo is very tempting... but OKshon kill you. They wont post engines, they cant even strip them, nor can they ship anything thats anything near large.

Their fees make ebay look like a non profit company aswell! lol

For those that find it interesting.

Stock RC valve (left) vs F3 (right).
