how to set up the oil injection on a mc18

I just pick up a street legal nsr mc18 in california, how do I set the oil injection up. It is way to rich at idle. the bike still has the original unscratched feelers on the foot pegs. thanks for any info.

my 18 is very smokey at idle and it is premix with mc-21 carbs It has always been smokey). I put the smallest pilot jets i could find. I also had it tuned. Try using a low smoke oil like motul 600.

With the throttle wide open the marks should line up as in the picture below. If they don't adjust the oil pump cable using the adjuster on the cable.

Are there supposed to be two hash marks? There's another line on my MC21 oil cable rotor that's closer to the other end with the "N" on it. Which one do I align to?
