Does any body know where I can get Aluminium clutch basket and inner hub from?

If not I have found an engineering company that may produce some.

For which model? There are 4 types of basket and 5 types of inner.

Well for me personal it's MC21SP as my signature suggests. The guy I've spoke to says that making them isn't a problem as usual it all comes down to money.

I think I just paid about $125 for the basket and about $50 for the hub.

The stock design is good, but just a little heavy. Why not take the stock piece to the CNC shop and get it machined out of billet 7075, then you can skinny it down to half the weight.

It's only money. Make some more tomorrow.

What he really needs is a "Mr. Matt" clutch, or an Andy F3 clutch or even an MC18 F3 clutch. Failing all of those and the CNC shop a NSR-World Lightened clutch basket.

Steve have you been looking at my crutch....I mean clutch again?!

My clutch is a lot of messing around. Cutting this, welding that, trimming bushes down, making new shafts and pushers, hardening and tempering.....

Andy's F3 clutch. Well, let's not go into that 'cos he's the only bugger outside HRC that's got one Mad

MC18 F3 clutch. Still haven't seen one Steve, but sounds good all the same.

NSR-World lightened clutch. Ahhhh, now that's an easy one. Probably the best compromise.

So it's only 5 minutes since my previous post and I've now seen the MC18 F3 clutch.

Brother Stephen sent me some pics and I of course replied to his email in the nicest way possible Mad

Looks rather trick and would definitely be an improvement on stock.
