I know this will please Andy, well I think it will. I havn't been around the site for quite a time but I've been asked to show my face by a few people so here I am.

So, I trust we still all know the MC18 is the best of all the NSR and the Terra MC18 club now has 3 members I believe.

While way Ive managed to get the F3 engine running thanks to Andy, Matt and LukeF.

So heres the latest graph, picture and movie of the bike.

Rumour has it the NSR-WORLD racer will be at Llandow in all its resplendant glory - not sure if The Stig will be around or not! Wink

And for those interested, here's a typical BOG-STOCK 45hp NSR to compare StephenRC45's against.

Bang on what Honda reckon!

According to the DYNOJET dyno I was using, 74hp with major mods, but no RS bits. Home made ignition rotor, avgas, F3 box. That was my MC28 SS racer in '95. Regularly protested by Yamaha and even protested by Honda Very Happy

Engine I built with RS250 cylinders running NSR pistons (don't ask why, it was a street bike) made 76hp.

71hp on F3 motor with unleaded.

69hp on 'cheaty' SP spec on avgas. Hi comp with ahem...blueprinted ports.

68hp on 'non-cheaty' SP spec on avgas, but with HRC ignition rotor and bluprinted ports.

64hp stocker with bits bolted on. No engine work. No cheating.

38hp....Paul's NSR250SP MC28 when he first bought it to our workshop in '95. Oh how we laughed. 65hp when it left without HRC card.

I think 80hp would be pretty damn good.

Excellent is a word reserved for 90+hp. Only had the oppertunity to use it once, but that was on a full HRC kitted NX5 at 93hp.

Mines still on unleaded and looking a tad rich at top on the graphs and plugs. I think it will make around 72-73 once its little closer but right now I'm happy with the 70+

Yep... Tesco's finest!! Laughing

Don't worry Jeff, Steve will be there, but he's riding the Fireplace up and as he's getting a bit old now, doesn't think he will be fit enough to do a full day on the track and then ride home too!

That means there may be a 70hp+ F3 spec' MC21 up for grabs for most of the day if you grovel nicely!!! Wink (Or buy some beers on the night out!!!)
