Recognise these pipes?

Sat Jun 03, 2006 7:31 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

I just wondered if any one Knows who these pipes were made by? I bought them a couple of years ago of off Nigel and he thought they were JHA but they look completely different to the JHA pipes which came on this bike when I bought it. The end cans are JHA which I took off the original pipes. The l/h pipe has been dented to clear the shock linkage.

No idea, but that's a helluva lot of welding there!

Definately NOT JHA. I have pipe specs for all the JHA versions, and these arent even close. They are larger behind the headpipe than anything I have seen before. They look stainless, are they? I would love to see the dyno chart from a set of these.

Thanks for the replies!
They do have a lot of welding dave which makes them look kind of cool. I dont think Iam going to keep them on however as they hit the standard bodywork at the front v-piece, belly pan and the r/h rear. they also hit the standard r/h footrest plate, so I wont be getting a dyno readout They arent stainless I have sand blasted them and polished them up a bit. Racer38 thanks for the compliment, I stripped it down to this www.bikepics.com/pictures/546806/ and have pretty much cleaned, painted and re-plated every part. Time consuming but worth the effort when its finished.I will try and find a picture of an NSR with jolly moto's on and have a compare thanks Kyon.
