MC18 and MC21 front ends interchangable?

I am considering installing a complete front end from an MC21 on my mc18. Is this a fairly straight over swap?

For ease of installation, slide the MC21 forks into the MC18 triples. Use any/all the other MC21 parts as necessary.

Thanks for the reply Andy. I found the same thread after I already posted Shocked

. I always thought the MC21's had a wider diameter fork tube than the mc18?

'18, '21, and '28 are all 41mm.
