Fitting jha pipes

Tue Apr 04, 2006 1:49 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

I just bought a used set of jha pipes. When I got the pipes there is left over silicone gasket on the flange. I removed all the old silicone and want to know if there is a different gasket or does it really just use a liquid gasket. Has anyone had any experience with this?

Thanks

All the Jha's I've ever seen use the stock Honda gasket - as do just about all the other after-market pipes.

my jha pipe used the standard copper gasket to fit an adaptor type thing and the the pipe conected to that. had to use a sealer betwwen the adaptor and pipe.

my pipes (although not JHA) leak black oily crap from the flange where they conect to the barrel, so as well as the Honda gasket I have used a silicone sealent as well.
