Need a measurement please.

I need a center to center measurement from the front sprocket to the swingarm mount from a 21 or 28.
Thanks.
Mark.

About 108mm ish approx. MC21

That's leaning ove rthe other side of the bike, in the dark, with it parked up against the wall, measuring with the trusty knotted string.

If that's wrong then you'll have to come round, turn the light on, pull the bike out into the middle of the floor and measure it properly.

I think you`ve got too much time on your hands if you can play up against the wall in the dark with some knotted string!

Anyway, seems you`ve answered that age old question.

Next time someone asks we can all say a piece of string is about 108mm long!

The answer's only 108mm if there's knots in it. I tried undoing the knots to actually find out the true length of a piece of string, but Granny must have done it and I couldn't get it undone, so the answer to that timeless question is still a mystery Confused

Those bloody granny knots eh?!

Had it been the easier to undo reef knots, then maybe we'd all have been enlightened!! Very Happy

Well, I've just had the bike in the middle of the room, and 108mm does seem reasonably accurate.

Wot ya doing anyway? Aprilia RXV550 V2 engine perhaps?
