engine mount

Fri Mar 10, 2006 7:53 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

hi there
a friend of mine just bought a mc21 and I found the previous owner had left the bolt out of the engine mount that conects the engine to the swingarm.
it has then been rubbing on the chain and is pretty stuffed , my question is what damage could be done by running without this mount as he is desperate to get it on the track and I am having a had time convincing him to wait the month for the parts

At best it could throw the chain, trash the engine cases and destroy the swingarm.

Dave's already mentioned the worst.

Fix it or prepare for the worst. Anything other than that is a bonus!
