Arnt they bigger than standard In fact arnt they racing carbs with no Choke?? Friend has a set of Magnisum race carbs on his RGV500 bugger to start but when it goes it goes well......

I got the inlets off a 89 RS motor I got.

The carbs have a choak, tick over adjusters and a propper low speed running circuit, something the PJ range doesnt. They are 39mm, so 1mm bigger than what is fitting to an RS250.
