Running Premix

Sat Feb 25, 2006 3:27 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hello NSR lovers, I have just unplugged the hoses from the oil pump to the carby( its ok I put some premix in!) with the motor running and no oil comes out. Do the hoses need to be connected to create suction or should the 2 stroke lube drop out of the oil pump with out them? I would prefer to run premix anyway, but am thinking I would need to change jet sizes??Is this true??? I have no knowledge in motor/carby work so would really be grateful for any advice given. It is an mc16.Thanks, DJP.

er put the hose's back on now!!!!! before you start playing with premix do some research, youll fine lots of posts here about it, you need to block the holes off and thats just a start and yes a rejet with the fuel oil ratio you want to run will be needed, But for just now plug it back in until you have all the information ready to do the job!!! Confused just trying to save you some money,, expensive if it siezes Shocked Smile
