Jha tool

Has anyone purchased this tool or made their own? It seems much easier to use this rather than the box wrench & torque wrench combo.

I've been asked about this part on more than one occasion, so I've made enquiries and am awaiting an answer.

If I can get a few at a reasonable price, I will make them available in the Marketplace.

You would think somebody would make their own. Can you buy direct from Jha? $40 is kinda steep but would make rebuilds a lot easier. I would buy one from this site if your able to get an answer back. Smile

Is that tool for removing the bolts that hold the barrel? They were friggin hard to get to with regular spanners and sockets.

They look to me an aweful lot like "torque sticks". They are used with air tools as torque limiting devices for installing lug nuts quickly on cars.

Are'nt the barrel nuts 12mm Question
Ive never seen snap on do the torque stick things that small (they are promoted as wheel bolt/nut torqueing sockets for use on air guns in the UK) .
or is it these wobble bars and sockets you are thinking of ?

check out S6160 and S6194 at the bottom of the page.

Hope this is of some help.
If i remember i will give the snap off dealer a ring to see how much they are, maybe a cheaper alternative (or maybe not knowing snap off )

Hee hee. I've already got one Very Happy

I used to just use a ground down ring spanner to get in there, and very often I still do. I only really use the special tool for torquing up.
