Do the wider R6k rear hoops fit the earlier R2Js?

As title.

Apologies for the n00b question, looking at buying a Magtek rear wheel for my 88 MC18 (off TW) & just wanted to check it'll fit. Seller says it takes 150 rubber & is same width as the MC21 rear wheel (hence presuming it's off an R6K).

Thanks in advance
Scott

I would think that the wheels are interchangable. I looked in my mc-18 parts manual. The center spacer in the wheel is the same part#. Also the the spacers between the swingarm and wheel are the same. The only parts that have diffrenet part#'s is the brake side bearings. But the manual shows the same dimensions. Send me you e-mail address and i can send you the pages out of the manual if you want.

My brother and I put an MC21 rim on an MC18 with no problems at all.
