Tires

Wed Dec 07, 2005 6:56 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Which brand is the best for all season? My bike isnt a track bike so i'm not too concerned with "hard" conerning, just good enough for the street..

I was looking at the Pirelli Sports demon for the front and Pirelli Dragon HR for the rear. I cant afford expensive tires so these were the cheapest, are they any good?

for the rear does 150/70/17 fit for the MC21 wheel?

Thanks

Have you considered the Dunlop GPR70's?

Or the Bridgestone BT090's?

The 090 gets very good reviews, and the GPR is a top yet cheap tyre.

your 150/70/17 will probaly fit but i think should be 150/60/17 as you might affect the way the bike handles, have you looked at Avons? some of there sport touring tyres are real good and last forever! And what about an auction like ebay, I pick up GP208 dunlops that have been hardly used for around 100 - 150 US dollars a pair?

I've never run the Pirellis, so can't give you an opinion. I'm suprised the GPR's are so expensive, they're the cheap tyre on the block in the UK...
