2t V 4t thrash up?

Thu Sep 29, 2005 7:08 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

As some of you may know I got PB to help us run a speed trial of 250's early this year. It was a great success.

A few guys want to take it further and take on some 400 diesels. I also notice PB now have a "test track" that involves corners.

I am happy to take up the reins of contacting a few people at the magazines, would anyone here be up for it? I'd aim for early next year when the mags don't have a lot to write about.

I'd be up for it, my '28 will be no where near the quickest but it'd be fun.

Let's try and keep it civil if someone posts it on greybike this time, the last 250v400s thread got deleted.

Unfortunately no, I'm completely serious, which is madness, some 400 race bikes are claiming over 80 bhp, they stand a more than decent chance.
They delete threads about Tyga on a regular basis too Rolling Eyes

Yes it's true. We do want 300's and race bikes allowed. Maybe have some different classes.

Std v Std
Race V Race
Over bore V overbore

I have been asked to step in by the guy who's idea it was to try and get it going. If no 400's turn up (basically as they know their dyno readings are sh*t) we'll win by default lol

remeber....all you chaps with premix fuel in Jerry cans, Dont be mean share your fuel with the 4stroke boys.... Twisted Evil by the way looking at the BDK website they got 92hp (at the back wheel) out of a FZR400, so an 80bhp rgv aint gona make a blind bit of diffrence if something like that turns up, we'll have our arse's handed to us. 92 hp? Not so sure about that. I'm no expert so maybe you should ask around.

Probably be at bruntingthorpe, pretty central.

I'll get in touch with mags next week, I wanted to make sure of interest first.
