Does anyone know where I can get a correct headlight bulb substitute for an Mc-21 in the states? I went to the Honda shop, but in typical style, the one they told me was a direct swap did not work. Spacing of the locating tabs was incorrect. Any help would be appreciated.

I think a VFR has the same bulb, check your dealer because there is a USA Honda bike that takes a different bulb then a standard H4.

I know the 900RR had a odd bulb...the h4r or hr4...something like that may work.

I have a MC28 which uses the same bulb as the MC21 and I managed to crack one of my bulbs. I was planning to just order a bulb the next time I go to Japan (I go there every year at least once), but if I could find it in the US it would be nice.

Alternatively I heard someone did a "H4" mod to his housing. Anyone know anything about this?

...take a Dremel and cut the tab slots to accept the H4 tab offset. Works great, and opens up TONS of bulb choices...
