Hi Langhaa, welcome to the site. Have a good look through the main sections of the site as there'a loads of good info there to help you.

Where in the world are you? It helps us give better info sometimes. How much are you looking to spend too? It can make a big difference on what you get.

im in New Zealand

Fri Aug 19, 2005 8:14 am » Post: #3 » Download Post

6K is that reasonable for a 92 nsr250se with full dog fight kit, rebuilt race barrels, box all the works? I fell in love with the size and shape of the NSR so I gotta have one now cant wait! Sounds like they're an awesome performace bike, gotta love the two stroke! However I am not very knowledgeable on them at all, so a tad worried! All my previous work's been on n/a Honda drag cars.

i would agree with paul. 6k is a lot for one. i got a 91se for 1k with a lot of spares but the fairings were in bad shape but the bike was in good condition. had done 17000km and has been rebuilt with a set of jha pipes. ahve spent about 2k on it and now it looks great with some tyga stuff and has usd forks

are you looing at the one on trademe? i dont know to me it seem like a lot of money for a nsr but if you have that sort of money spare go for it. just remember the expensiva ones seem to take a will to re-sell.

congrats on the bike - idle control should be a round silver knob just peaking out on the left side (as you're sitting on the bike) from under the frame spar, a few inches behind the choke lever and right by the radiator overflow plastic container on a stock set-up. Gawd it's nice to be able to answer somebody's question for a change! Hey, it's a start. Very Happy
