Does anyone know if the wheel bearings fitted on the
Magtek rims are specific to those particular rims?
The reason I'm asking is that DMR Japan sell a kit of 'super fast
bearings for the normal Enkai rims but states that that kit
Isn't for the Magteks, which I have..
Anyone know?

The front wheel bearings should be size 6004 which you should confirm by inspection. If you carefully remove the dust cover you can see the bearing and size. I have microblue coated ceramic hybrid bearings on my MC28. The bearings are made by world wide bearings then shipped to microblue for coating. I've got their bearings in my entire bike including the left/right crankshaft. The only non ceramic is the crankshaft center bearing, but I do have a steel one in hand that I would have made into ceramic should I ever build another crankshaft up.
