Problème d'ajustement des vannes RC.

Sun Sep 17, 2023 7:31 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Good morning,

Here is my question

When I adjust the valves with the center of the hole, the aligned mark, and the valve motor is on "hi" (method ON/OFF unplug the trottle) there remains 1mm of possible rise at the valve. ( for the 2 valves)
When I adjust the valves with the alignment of the exhaust port with my finger (there is a little play left) then I am 1.5mm to the left of the mark on the two valves.

Which solution is the right one? Did I do a bad thing?is the servomotor not completely opened with this procedure?

Setting the RC Valves with the "dowel" method is the quick & safe adjustment used at the factory during [mass-production] assembly. For most situations, it works absolutely fine.

Using the HRC method is, of course, the most accurate way to do it, but I wouldn't worry too much on a stock motor as the gain is often barely noticeable. Really it's for when you absolutely want to fine tune every component to the finest degree.

Thanks Andy.

my nsr is equipped with a tyga air box with filter and tyga exhaust. I adjusted the carburetion and set the air jets to 100-75-50, I would like to correctly adjust my valves because there is still a significant difference. when I unplug the trottle and the valve motor turns to HI, is this the fully open position or intermediate adjustment position?

ok I just checked. the OnOff position unplugging the trottle is an intermediate position. not HI full position.
at 2000rpm the HI full position is present.
