NC35 forks on MC28

Sun Jun 07, 2020 11:19 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Apart from the triple clamps what does and does not fit on NC35 forks. I want to put NC35 forks on my MC28 track bike. Will the caliper fit etc? thanks

You'll obviously need the NC35 [or similar sized] clipons, and if I recall correctly, some different wheel spacers. The MC28 wheel and calipers will fit the NC35 forks, but you'll need the NC35 discs.

No idea. When I fitted my NF5 USD forks with a Magtek I used 1x MC21 spacer and 1x R2J spacer.

I bought genuine [used] discs off eBay at the time.

You'll need adaptor plates for an Brembo.

We'll be making Honda pitch calipers in the near future though, that will be a direct fit for both "threaded" and "blind" caliper types. I will be able to offer Ti Members a unique discount on them once we get them into production.

Depends who's bracket you use. Normally you want a 40mm Brembo.

I had a set of 40mm brembos on my 21, they came off a 28, but I had to space the brackets out slightly for the 21 forks, I still have the calipers, but fitted on another bike, and I also have the brackets, which are a direct fit for 28 forks.
