MC21 Oil Pump - WANTED

Fri May 08, 2020 2:33 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi All

This is my first post, based in the UK. Looking forward to chatting with some of you.

I am restoring an MC21, but the electrical cable on the oil pump is broken near to the top of the oil pump, so I am looking for the cable and the top 'lid' of the oil pump. I realise this will probably be impossible, so a complete oil pump will do!

If any of you have one you wish to part with then please let me know.

Many thanks

Nick

Hi

There is one here for sale on Yahoo auction Japan, but you will need a proxy to bid for you like Zen or Jauce.

Good Luck 👍

Hi Nick, and welcome to NSR-WORLD. Smile

The solenoid isn't a serviceable part, as I'm sure you've already guessed, so you'll need complete pump.

Please be aware that there are two types of pump for the MC21, depending on the model/year, so make sure you get the correct one.

If you need help identifying which type you need, please post a couple of photos of your current pump [and your cases with it removed if possible] in the Discussion area. Please don't post the photos/questions here, as I deter any discussion in Classifieds because useful/critical information for someone else could get overlooked in the future, and discussion here bumps sales posts down the list.

Hi Nick
I probably have a spare of the earlier type. As Andy said get it identified first and then see what you need.
