Front fender install?

Mon Mar 09, 2020 12:53 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hello I just recently purchased an NSR250 SE and I am putting new plastics on, as the old ones were pretty ugly. Everything is going smoothly except the front fender. I’m curious what the technique is for installing it as I can’t seem to bend it or find an angle the fender will fit between the forks. Maybe a dumb question but the bike had a non original front fender to start with so I am not sure the technique. Any input would be appreciated

Hello "Niem9", and welcome to NSR-WORLD.

It's a pain, but you will need to remove the front wheel to fit the fender, or you will risk damaging it.

Removing the wheel for a fender, what a pain... but I guess it’s what I’ll have to do. Thanks for the reply!

Just one of those quirks, I'm afraid. They're pretty good to work on generally though, and a lot simpler than any of their contemporaries.
