Rgv vj22 fork

Fri Jan 05, 2018 11:52 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hello,
I'm wondering to install a rgv250 vj22 fork on to a mc21.
Does anybody know if that idea is possible? I would like use the nsr wheel.
The rgv brake disc are bigger than the nsr. I don't have more measures.

Thanks

Hello

Everything is possible,In my mc16 i placed a Kawasaki zx6r fork, with a CBR600 frontwheel.
But yes here he is the but, what is the size of the steeringpin from the rgv and the wheel axle.
I Made for my frontfork a new steeringpin and a new wheel axle. You need knowledge and tools or
friends with tools and knowledge, its a thing of trial and error. Very Happy
And a picture from my frontfork.

Succes with your project.
Regards Jasper

Thanks for the reply.
I have changed the fork in my dirtbike so more or less i know that its a hard work.
Sometimes its near impossible install it because of the problems, that's the reason because i would like to know if somebody has done it before.

Regards.

Hi there

Sat Jan 06, 2018 1:51 pm » Post: #4 » Download Post

Hi there I bought a MC 21 se once with RGV front end ,I removed because it was a nice clean bike and I returned it to stock,
What I did notice the steering lock lug on the Honda frame was cut off so I can only assume this had to be done to accommodate the Suzuki front end,
It depends what you want,
I hope this helps,
All the best,
jonmac

I was going to do this a while back, but I was warned by someone that it's pretty annoying to do. And so I didn't. I'd maybe feel a bit more confident if I had a tutorial or something so if someone's got one or runs into one, please post it.
