Do they give you any problems registering the bike since it's not a usdm vehicle?

Most people will register it for Vermont (not necessary to live there) and get plates so they can ride, then they take Vermont registration and register the bike as a new vehicle in their home state and get a title for it. It just says 1987 Honda 250. The VIN definitely throws them through a loop though lol. 4 ladies at the desk trying to figure out how to complete the title even though the computer says numbers are missing


edit: once it's titled though, it's titled. No hassle except in California aka the no fun state, but even then I'm not really sure. I don't live there.
