difference between normal enkei and magtek wheels?

Sat Jul 02, 2005 2:26 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

hello ppl, im considering buying a mc21 sp. However, all i can tell is its got the adjustable suspension with the canister on the right side of the bike and a dry clutch. I have no idea how to spot the difference between magtek wheels and normal SE/R wheels.

What else should i be looking out for in an SP? thanks.

thanks, so the normal wheel doesnt have any writing embossed on it?
i found a pic of sp wheel and normal aluminuim wheel on this site (finally). the magtek was clearly embossed, but could not see any kind of writing on the normal wheel. Are all normal Enkei wheels not embossed with any kind of writing? thanks

the normal NSR wheels i.e SE/R only have Honda embossed on them, Magteks have both Magtek and Honda embossed on them Smile

You can tell a mile off, a Magtek looks like it could take a caliper (as in a push bike) brake, the rim is deep and smooth and has no lip

I am selling a pair of Magteks so I took close up pictures. You can see them up close to get an idea of how they look like. You will need to login with your Yahoo iD to see the pictures at the following group:
