Hey Jeff? you think it has 16 servo motor huh? is that the gizmo that has the cable that go to the power valves? would it be possible to change it to a 18 servo motor if i can find one? do you know which model had the pgmII? I know of a guy with a pgm II and a loom for sale here in calif, and how do you tell what pgm i have? it doesnt say on the box "either or"? i think i can get a 18 loom easier than a 16 so i am thinking i should upgrade it to 18 since i have most of it allready, the subrame? you think that piece is from a 16 welded on huh? did the 18 have a short subframe? if so i can just cut that piece off! i am gonna probably do the tyga tail anyway with their taillite also. MC18R2J/R4J (Mk1) - PGM-CDI - cast into theplastic casing.
MC18R5K/R6K (Mk2) - PGM-II - cast into the plastic casing.
MC21 - PGM-III - cast into the alloy housing.
MC28 - PGM-IV - cast into the plastic casing.

The MC16 has an entirely different setup, as someone's already mentioned, with two CDI "igniter" packs, located I think, up under the fuel tank somewhere.

The only easy way I can tell, just by looking, the MC16 servo from the later ones, is by the mounting points. They appear to be "flipped", which may be why Jeff says the motor may run in reverse if you try to use an early motor with a later harness, or vice versa.
