Power Valve - Different in each barrel???

Power Valve - Different in each barrel???

Hi there!

Can anyone shed some light on the difference between these power valves? I was thinking i might try dress up the uglier ones to suit.

Valves on the left came from the bottom barrel, ones on the right the top.

One is late spec SP (left) the other R spec (right).

Thanks. So is i possible to machine the R spec one to match the SP specs? What are the implications of leaving the SP and R spec ones in the bottom and top barrels respectivly?

Allright, so i cleaned the "R" ones up a bit, result is below. The only thing remaining is the hight of the front of the valves, the SP ones seem a little taller.
