Head Repairs. Anyone attempted it?

Hi Everyone!

Has anyone ever attempted to repair thier heads before? I'm thinking of filling up the pits with aluminium before getting the heads machined.

Is that a front or rear cylinder head that you damaged? I migt have one lying around too.

Thats a front head, but if i was gonna go replacing it i'd probably stick a rear head on there.
