MC28 Clip-on Angle

Mon Mar 29, 2010 6:42 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi folks,

Wanted to replace the bent clip-on handlebars on my MC28 and wondered if anyone could tell me what the factory stock angle is supposed to be? I have a line on a set of 8 degree slope, but think that may not be enough.

Wonder if anyone can tell me a range that'll clear the bodywork and tank?

Thanks in advance.

I've got to say, I'm really disappointed that nobody's chimed in with at least an opinion on this. I belong to a lot of forums and I find all of them helpful. Are there any better forums for NSR owners? If not, I guess I'll give up on the "community" concept.

Maybe no-one actually knows?! Confused

Most bikes I've seen run OEM or HRC RS clipons (if they want replaceable bars), which are the same angles.

I guess that's the case. For simplicity sake I guess I'll go with the infinitely-adjustable Woodcraft versions.

Sorry if I seemed feisty. Was having a bad day.
