MC16 mirrors

Sun Jan 02, 2005 11:11 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

whilst messing around in the garage over the x-mas holiday I found out that the mirrors off a V-twin TZR250 fit my MC16 Very Happy almost Mad the mounts are the same distance apart but the threaded studs are too short so i can't actually get a nut onto the thread to bolt them up. however at least its a start.
now the choice is to attack the mounting frame with a grinder to reduce its width or lenghten the studs Question
apparently M&P list some pattern mirrors with the same bolt spacing if any one else is struggling to get a good view of the rear Shocked

still need to get the engine going yet

Might I suggest you forget the mirror issue until you've got the motor going?

you certainly can suggest that Very Happy my excuse was that i was bored and its a bit easier to swap mirrors from bike to bike than to replate barrels and forge pistons in my garage Shocked
