Dyno for me !!!!!!!!!!!

Mon Dec 13, 2004 9:05 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

With all the talk of Dynos, I feel left out. Can any of you lot reccommed someone I could use that is local to me. Stockport. The only place that I know of with a Dyno house is The Motorcycle centre in Stockport. They don't "touch" two strokes. So the alternative is myself! I am a trial and error boy!.........more error that anything else. Very Happy Embarassed

Why don't you bring it to the NSR-WORLD.COM spring dyno-day Dave?

Cost is £15 for the day, and after the first set of runs on each bike, the day will be dedicated to setting up and tuning bikes that are down on power!

Obviously things need to be fair, but it's not like all 15 bikes (the available spaces) are going to need work, so there will hopefully be a few hours of tweaking time available to all that need it.

Still, a cheap day though, and the opportunity to meet a group of like minded individuals and go on a 2-stroke ride-out on the Sunday. It'd be good to see another 300 booked up too. :)

Just think, what you could save on the dyno costs, you can use on expenses... and there's another owner that will be (almost) coming right past your front door you could probably colaborate with! ;)

Andy.

Dave what's the problem with your jetting at the moment? Do you need any base settings?

Hi Maxim, I am using the base settings that you provided me with a while back. I have richened the needles by one notch and am using 185s in the bottom cylinder and 183s in the top. I have not had the opportunity as yet to give the bike a blast. I am SORNd until spring time. My probs were due to the bottom piston burning through its crown, this has happened twice and I am now on my third piston. My 21 is a road bike and I am running with my oil pump. I am hoping that with the HRC kit fitted the extra availability to "tune" the carburation will elliminate my piston probs. Rolling Eyes
