My main oil tank ( the small plastic one connects to the 2stroke oil filler tank) sprung a hole because the sparkplug was loose and burned a hole in it. Would it be ok to use a JB Weld or epoxy type product on it to seal the hole? The hole is about 1/4 in diameter?

i would be concerned about getting a good bond between the plastic and the epoxy. Why not try a P-tex ski base repair stick and melt new plastic in? Alternatively new tanks are avaliable. I may even have an old one kicking around that your welcome to.
