MC18 HRC F3 manual pages needed

Mon Feb 09, 2009 9:51 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Helloo
I have the HRC F3 electrics and transmission for the MC18 NSR.
Is there any difference between the '88 and '89 F3 besides part No's?

I need the HRC set-up manual and parts pages relevant to these parts. So, if any of you have these, and can get to a scanner, could you please e-mail to me copies of these pages.
I also need the information on machining the cases for the HRC stator plate
I am at:
ride_one_wheel@hotmail.com

Cheers

Kieran,

I have the 89 books (actually they belong to Matt but he has never collected them).
If somebody else sends, post no longer needed or I will send when I return home.
Think I may be on my way home tomorrow; opened my big mouth again.
I have no idea on your question; I can't obviously, even buy the correct pistons.
The books do come available pretty often, I bought another set the other day. They are online somewhere but couldn't find today.

The '88 and '89 ign are almost identical. There are a few types of '18 transmission but its just the same as putting a stock one together.

The '89 motor though is quite a bit better than the '88

Dan (geckoracing1) has my 1988 mc18 parts book that has the case machining diagram, I don't believe the electrics are any different to the RS of the era '89 RS parts book here. The '89 F3 wiring diagram is identical as is much of the Japanese text regarding the setup of the stator, the RS book has it in English too Wink

The '88 parts and '89 setup manuals are the ones that show up on Yahoo Japan frequently and cheap(ish)ly.

I've just sent you some 89 drawings; hope some use. Need anything else from the books or better scans of an area; let me know.
