MC16 Rear Shock Upgrade?

Thu Feb 12, 2009 7:11 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi, having taken my '16 for an mot the other day then riding it a bit in anger, it seems its a wee bit 'soggy' in the suspension department. I have bunged the preload on the back shock up to max but it still feels too spongy (no rebound adjuster?).

I can rebuild the forks to sort them no worries, but are there any other shocks that bolt straight on or is it a case of measuring mine then trying to find one the same length?

Thanks
Paul

Turn the linkage plates around. Did this on mine, it hardened the rear right up, and gave it more ride height.
