MC21 street

Tue Dec 30, 2008 9:45 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi guys. I am making progress on my 21. I finally ordered an RSW kit from TYGA which arrived just after xmas.

This is the bike before hand

This is the bike after fitting the RSW kit and the GP tail i bought 2nd hand

Some twat poseing in his TYGA shirt . . . Very Happy

Still have the braided lines i got from Andy 10 years ago to fit, and there is a Carbon rear hugger as well to go on, some general tidy ups, calipers to paint and i might get the forks done while the fairings are being painted.

Have you decided on a paint scheme yet? Mine was finished, click on link over to the left under name. However I got cut in front of at an intersection in the rain Shocked , which resulted in a bit of a slide down the RHS. As a result I am repairing / maybe changing paint.

Paint scheme.
Still undecided. Ive narrowed it down to 2

First choice is the Shell Advance GP bike. I really like the look of Mike Frasers in the gallery.
Second choice is the RC211V fluro red listed on the Tyga site. This is the easier option. But i thought i might change the fluro red to comthing less, umm, fluro. Mabey a nice silver. Ill get quotes on both and that may sway my choice.

both very nice colours. I really like shell advance colours from the days when leon haslam and chris walker rode NSR500's. Smile

Well I ended up changing the colour and I am very happy with the result. I'll take some better pics and update the garage photos once the sun goes down a bit, and I have better light.... Cool

Nice job shmokica !! Did you paint that up yourself ? You may find yourself hired to paint mine !!!!!

As for my red chambers. Im undecided about them. I guess its like running a coloured chain. Once the bike is painted i might paint them black again. I dont mind them red though. Just to be different. Id really like them to be stainless, but that aint gunna happen anytime soon

Also bought a HRC double banjo with bleed nipple for the m/c

Thats about it for now.
