guys my mc18 r2j cdi just died . i really cant find a replacement cdi locally.trying to import one is just too expensive.is it possible to use a cdi from another bike? is it possible to rewire the whole thing and get rid of the pgm2 box and replace it with 2 cdis from another bike?

Where are you located? I have a couple of 18 CDI's which are surplus to my needs that I plan to sell once I am back home from holidays.

nevermind.almost cant believe it bikes running again without the pgm2 unit. im using 2 cdi units from honda xl bike.will test drive the thing tommorow. hope nothing else breaks
