Having spent 4 years restoring my MC16 to stock I have just passed my test and took the bike for an MOT and failed to make it there.

I have indentified the fault as the CDI units without doubt and so require replacement/replacements. If I swap them over (front to back) the fault moves to the other cyclinder so clearly is the issue. Annoyingly its very intermittent and most of the time is fine.

been looking on the net for some weeks now but no luck,
also got a mc18 so i my use the mc16 for speres if i do i will get back to you regs the cdi.
