MC18 Crank Rebuild Australia??

Thu Mar 13, 2008 3:17 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hey Guys,

Looks as though I have the dreaded center crank seal issue with my MC18, Just wondering if anybody knows of anyone in Australia who could rebuild it?

Yuki from Southern Cross Sports can send it to Japan to get rebuilt and is keeping his eye out for a rebuilt crank in Japan, both of those options will be pretty expensive due to shipping charges...There's also the option of machining and dropping an MC21/28 Crank in as he knows of a brand new one in Australia for a decent price.

Just want to find all the options avaliable!!

I've been in contact with a guy called Ken C. Doesn't work for public, got in contact with him through Rob @ MLM Cycles who is a top bloke. I won't be able to get him to check it out for a week or so due to Yuki not being in his shop next week. If that doesn't pan out I'll give Ian a call.

Thanks
Sam
