NC30 rake - 25°20'
MC18~28 - 23°15'
MC16 - 26° (where did they come up with that one? F3 frame Andy?)
RS250 NF5 - 22°30'
RS250 NX5 - 22°30'

Yep, apart from the MC16, the NC's a lazy fat pig........allegedly

Surely it won't make any difference because you will only use the 41mm NC30 forks in the 41mm NSR triples? They just need to be set at the same height as the NSR forks.

Not sure about the F3 frame to be honest Matt, but given the rest of the MC16F3 stuff, I'd expect it to be right on or very close to the RS!

Free length is not so important as there's other factors involved in the spring rate. This will give you an idea, but remember that this only works for constant spring rates:

This calculator isn't perfect, but it will give you a rough comparison from spring to spring, assuming thematerials are the same.

There's other calculators but you need to know the modulus of rigidity of the material, so you need to know the exact material to start with.
