NSR Carbon Fiber who wants?

Guys

Since you bring up discussion with carbon fiber on earlier post?
we know a company that makes Molds of carbon fibre. The prices are amazing and they don't charge the molding cost as they want to have new products on their list.

IF you have plastics that are damaged and sitting in your garage you can send it to them and with in 25 days you will have the Carbon fibre. If we all send some plastics they will update they catalog with full range for NSR.
you can see some examples in my web site www.motorcyclelane.com. Guaranteed that their quality is amazing and their service to.

you can contact jessieoyacarbon@gmail.com for firhter information

We've done a full carbon GSXR1000 K7 and it really saves weight and looks briliant

I have a few 21 panels that i was planning to bin if people are interested.
Maybe we could look at getting some kits made up,if people are willing to provide panels and share postage cost.
Do you know what they would charge for a full set Demetris?

I've quoted and purchased a full GSXR1000 07 carbon fibre

check the prices

Suzuki GSXR1000 2007 Front Fender 100% Carbon 1 US$115.00
Suzuki GSXR1000 2007 Tail Fairing 100% Carbon 1 US$210.00
Suzuki GSXR1000 2007 Front Fairing 100% Carbon 1 US$350.00
Suzuki GSXR1000 2007 Belly Pan 100% Carbon 1 US$236.00
Suzuki GSXR1000 2007 u/Seat Plate 100% Carbon 1 US$45.00

GSXr1000 are huge pcs, where as NSR are smaller and more simple they will cost less

I can imagine tyga are much more simpler to do as well

I can also imagine that TYGA cowlings (and other TYGA products) carry a copyright, so any replication may be followed by us seeking legal advice.

This is just a friendly reminder.

Let's suppose that YOU spent many hours, sorry weeks, and a big bag of YOUR money crawling around the workshop, designing the best looking fairing you could think of, and then someone else takes all your hard work, makes a mold and sells them off smug in the knowledge that the development costs were practically zero. Easy to do, but not the best way to make friends.

Make standard shape carbon parts by all means. Even spend some money and design your own stuff. That would make you proud. But don't copy our products.

We don't make a huge amount of money out of this game. We do it because we love motorcycles, and the NSR in particular. Do the right thing eh?

Well, that was a little more reserved than I was expecting to be honest! Laughing

As I said, the friendly reminder.

Oh, and Paul's at the fibre factory now so he hasn't read this topic yet. I'll try to keep him calm Shocked

We are increasing our range of carbon products, but time is always against us.

I have never thought that Tyga started making carbon, now that i saw, this post doesnt belong here. as it doesnt show right.

My intentions where Only and i insist only on helping the forum in regards of the carbon fibre products as well as encourage Tyga or anyone else to find this chance. Never passed from my mind in regards of any sales competition.

I think Matt is right in regards of the copyright issue, and i am really sorry as it shows like this.

this was just an idea and never meant to affect anyones sales ONLY to help.

If this might cause any problems guys please delete this post.

really sorry

Not trying to discourage you from making standard shaped bodywork, just not our stuff.

Thanks.

Matt

I guess is misunderstanding, is not me that making the carbon molds but another company . Again sorry for that as i dint know that tyga is already making carbon. I Have also purchased parts from tyga therefore i am good supporter not an competitor.

This is my TYGA NSR seen by hounders of ppl entering my shop

http://youtube.com/watch?v=EWQ1iIKc5CE

I rather advertise Tyga than trying to Compete

And i completely understand in regards of not copying tyga. The copyright and effort of making the wonderful tyga fairings is yours and not mine to mess with.

I would say the RSW stuff is fair game though as it's a standard fairing...

If anyone is up for making their own, I used to use a supplier in Beckenham called Bondaglas Voss Ltd, who are massively helpful in advising you on the best weave and epoxy to use for making specific moulds without those of us unfortunate enough to not have an autoclave... It's surprising how cheap it all is too.

The stuff I used to make up looked amazing, no air bubbles, and looked prepeg, all thanks to their knowledge really. Was just a single layer of straight weave sheet (don't fancy the 3D weave much) with a single sheet of the thinnest glass tissue behind. Weighed very very little.

But it's not an RSW fairing is it? It's a fairing that fits an NSR shaped something like an RSW.

Demetris74 I think you are misunderstanding. Matt is saying have at making Carbon Fiber bodywork just don't use Tyga fairings as molds.

Does anyone make a cf front fender?
