Fri Jun 24, 2016 7:15 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

As we all know getting an nsr radiator is very difficult, I am in a situation where I need a new rad, any ideas or knowledge on what works and fits relatively painlessly??

What did you end up doing about a radiator? I am restoring a pretty beat-up MC21 and while the radiator doesn't have any holes it is covered in corrosion. I am wondering if I can get it blasted of if I shouldjust get a replacement. I would like to keep it all OEM but this looked tempting:

Hi, you can search on Taobao and get a third party to get you those rads, I'm currently using one and with no issue. Search for pgm3 or pgm4 on Taobao would be nsr250 p3 or p4. Hope these helps

Jasper, how wide is the R6 radiator? I've also got an MC16 project but need to make sure it will fit within the RS250 bodywork I'm fitting

Cheers
Dave

The R6 Radiator is too wide for my project, but I have found a suitable replacement Smile I've just bought a GPZ500 radiator for £50. I'll need to get the filler and suitable mountings welded on though. I have a TIG welder but might get my mate to do it because I'll no doubt f*@k it up.
