2001 Honda RS250 Front end

Wed Jul 14, 2004 10:21 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

I have a 2001 Honda RS 250 front end that is ready to mount up on an NSR.

The front end comes with the following:

Forks
Lower triple
Upper Triple
Axle
Spacers
Brembo Calipers
Disks
Magnesium Rim
Clip on brackets (not the bars)

The Steering stem has been replaced with a custom machined, and pressed in stem to fit the NSR steering head. Have all new bearings, races, and dusk caps for the front end.

What you need:
Fender
Tire
Front wheel bearings (the ones in it I highly recommend you replace).

All parts in good condition. I never mounted it to my NSR, as I was doing fine with the stock front end on my NSR, and didn't want to upset my racing season getting used to a new front end.

Asking $2000.00 for this front end (plus shipping)

Thanks

Actually, I checked the price that I paid for it, and I found that the $2000 was the price the guy wanted. I talked him down to $1750.00, so I will let it go for that, and eat the cost of the stem work, and the new head bearings.

So the new price is $1750.00 plus shipping.

Thanks,

what size tire does that mag wheel utilize ( I know the stock NSR wheel fits a 110 tire) and are those Brembo disks?

who made the steering stem? I live in SD so I would come up to see it first... if you still have it Im interested...

the tire is a 120, the calipers are brembo, and the front end is sold. Sorry...

Oh, I had the stem done by Gerry Piazzo (sp?) out of the Napa area. I don't have his current info, as he was working for the Kawasaki dealer in Petaluma when I dealt with him, and he has since left, and opened his own business doing machine work.
