Your Terra pics

Tue Dec 26, 2006 10:45 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

As most of you know my favourite NSR250 is a MkII MC18, and really a Terra SP.

So come on lets see what pics you have of them hidden on your hard drive.

Heres my own MC18 Terra rep, Its now got a matching front magtek to finish the look as well as stock exhausts.

A couple of other terra's I've found on line.

Now, we're told that Honda never made blue Terra's but there are a lot of them out there for something that never got produced....

Very nice. Forgive the NSR ignorance, but what was a 'terra' Embarassed ? Was it just a paint rep of a particular sponsor (Terra), or was there anything else different on those models? I really like the lines of the 18 (possibly a little low at the back) and those colours/graphics work really well on it don't they?

I almost bought one of the blue stripey ones (like the above) up in Hull some years ago in fact.

Cheers

Wb

Terra was a GP sponsor. The Terra bikes were the SP's of the MkII MC18 and had the adjustable front and rear suspension as well as a dry clutch and the mag wheels.

There were other small differences but these where only in fairing pannel design.

Its all OE Terra body work Paul, the only one I couldnt get/find was the lower left pannel so Wayne (nsr-wayne) painted that white for me and I got most of the stickers I needed for it though Honda.
