Kill switch issue MC21R

Sat Jul 28, 2007 5:44 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Evening All.

I have just had to replace a section of broken wire from the kill switch on my MC21, as when the bike was idling & the bars where turned to the right the engine would cut out.

Now that I have replaced the section of wire the bike will not start!!! and there is no life in the servo's. Before I replaced the section of wire the Oil light would come on then once the bike was going it would go off. Now i'm not getting any illumination from the oil light!!

I have checked the connections & all is good. I'm completely baffled Confused

It probably wasn't damaged where you thought it was!

Time to get the multimeter out and test the continuity! Smile

You may also find a loose connection on one (or more) of the multi-plugs in the cubby box next to the servo. Pull them all apart and make sure the terminals are clean and secure.
