Are later ignition pickups compatible with MC18 2J 4J

I'm still trying to find a solution to the uneven running on my MC18.

I've checked all the connections and have found some damage on the lower ignition pickup /pulse coil. I can't get a new one p/n 30300-KV3-701 or 700, but wondered if 30300-KV3-830 would be compatible

If any one has an MC18 2nd hand set in good condition please contact me

R5k/R6K pickups will not work with an R2J im afraid; rotors are different dia'.
