MC21 HRC Wiring Harness

Thu May 17, 2007 10:06 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

I Just installed an HRC wiring harness on my 92 MC21 and noticed that there is no wire/plug running to the oil pump solenoid. With this harness do i need to run premix? If so, what ratio would you suggest i run?

HRC harness does not cater for the pump. Pre-mix info can be found within second in the Tuning section.

I will be running the bike occasionally on the track but still have all my lights wired up for the street. Here in the states I cannot find Castrol A747 or Elf HTX 975, 976, or 909 premix oils. Can you give me an alternative oil for street use?

Any good fully-synthetic 2-stroke oil if you are on the street.

We use Rockoil Synthesis 2 in everything, even the full F3 motors.

The last 250 2 stroke I ran on the street I used Motul 600 which is now 710.

Put about 3k miles a year for the few years I owned it and never had a problem.

I run Motul 510 in my 250(now 350cc) Honda Fourtrax out in some severe desert conditions and it works well there too.

They also make ester oil if you want to run that.
